【營孖媽】BB 幾大可以食芝士? Baby cheese / BB 芝士

孖寶11個月大第一次食芝士. 感覺OK – 不是鍾意, 亦不是不鍾意. 只吃了幾啖, 可能因為太黏 (因為他們不大喜歡黏黏的食物).
第二次試我就加芝士入薯蓉, 兩個都鍾意~ ^^
I mixed cheese in their mashed potato for 2nd attempt and they liked it~
最主要有3個因素:
1) 年齡: 不同國家有不同建議 (介乎6-12個月可以引入芝士給BB). 營孖媽我就於BB 11個月大才給BB吃.
3) BB有沒有哮喘 /濕疹? 雖然未有臨床研究證實, 但很多患有哮喘 /濕疹的BB1歲前食芝士都可能會有食物敏感的徵狀或令哮喘 /濕疹徵狀更嚴重.
綜合以上數點, 大家就可以自行判斷BB幾大可以食芝士喇~ (不過如有特別情況, 都要先咨詢一下BB的兒科醫生/營養師)
1) Age. Different country has different recommendation (most recommend introducing cheese to babies from 6 – 12 months). For me, I gave cheese to my twins when they were 11 month old (not too early not too late).
2) Any family history of food allergy or allergy to milk product? If have, recommend to wait until babies are at least 1 year old to introduce cheese. And its highly recommended to introduce cheese under pediatrician / dietitian’s guidance.
3) Does baby have asthma /eczema? Although its not clinically proven, but babies with asthma /eczema seem demonstrate higher chance of allergic symptoms or have worsen asthma/eczema after eating cheese before they are 1 year old.
After reviewing the above, hope everybody can decide when to introduce cheese to your babies. (But for special cases, please consult your pediatrician /dietitian)
